Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell is an American chef television personality and ex-teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, with her trademark spiky blond tresses and her edgy personality on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, reveals straightforward and simple cooking techniques that are suitable for the home cook. Chef Burrell has worked and studied at the top New York restaurants. He has also competed in Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up living in New York State's Upstate, discovered a love of cooking. The Culinary Institute of America is where she went after earning an English degree and a Communications certificate from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a wonderful learning experience for me. I could not be more educated or accomplished in my studies. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) during her time at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. In Italy, Chef Burrell gained an appreciation and appreciation for Italian food. It made a huge impact on how she views food. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten children living with challenges. She is also a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador. she promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes.
