Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay fighter. She competes currently with the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina is her older sister and a fellow UFC participant. Antonina Shevchenko started her combat sporting career by becoming a Muay Thai boxer. She debuted at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko took the title and defeated Suzane Miller in the finals via unanimity. Antonina kept her winning streak going by getting bronze and silver medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, a Gold medal in the year 2011, as well as the 2016 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia started her professional career in 2003. She took home at the world championships for light Welterweight at WKC in in 2012, The Lion Fight Lightweight Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. She quit the promotion and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina made use of superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the final clinch. Antonina took the UFC offer after her victory. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
