Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st October 1995. She was born in Berkeley, California, USA. She is an actor popular for Choices (2010, The Heart and Other Small Shapes, 2006) and Chrissie Mair's Content House 2022.

Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a film and actor family. She pursued both professions herself. Her first film came out when she was only nine years aged in Sergio Citti's film Sogni e Bisogni in 1988. she had the leading role in Cristina Comencini's first film, Zoo, and was in the ensemble of The Church directed by Michele Soavi. The following year, she played Nanni Moritti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon. Her profession took off after she landed the role of Nanni's little girl for the film Close Friends. It was well received at the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma she acted for the first time with her father, famed Italian film director Dario Argento Her mother is one of the most beloved actresses by Argento, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search of her parents' killer. Asia played a role in Dario's Phantom of the Opera, the third film she co-directed with her dad. The other two were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. In 1993, she costarred in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, in which she was Arianna an athlete. This role was complex and demanding, earning her recognition from David di Donatello as the most outstanding actor. In 1995 she worked together alongside Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio, for which she won a David di Donatello. Asia started directing as a career in 1994. She produced two shorts and an episode from De Generazione. The following year, 1996, Asia made a document on her father. Then, in 1998 was the year that Asia produced a feature film about Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), which received an award from the Rome Film Festival. Asia's debut feature film as a director was Scarlet Diva, in which she was the main actress, and also wrote the screenplay. It was released worldwide during May of 2000. The film won an award in Brooklyn during the Williamsburg International Film Festival.
