Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine has a unique style that combines R&B with gospel, soul music, and R&B. She's performed on Broadway, in the Democratic National Convention and in the European clubs and festivals. Sunshine, whose given name has been given as Denise White. She hails from Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her career in music by playing piano and singing at church. She attended Spellman College and began to study the R&B styles of Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was Stalk You a house 12 issued only in Japan; it has since been remixed by many producers and remains an essential part of her live set. Her voice has also been a part of vocals on The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. She became the primary keyboardist at Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. In 2007 Grammy and Tony Award-winning vocalist Jennifer Holliday sought her out to serve as the director of the choir for the stage production of Dreamgirls during the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine was at the center of attention for all of the country during four performances per day at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later asked to sing in the presence of President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
