Lauren Ash-Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. She was also the producer, costume/set designer as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC while she served as its Artistic Director. While she was usually the leader within her acting ensemble but in the final season alongside SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer.
